I did awesome at my last cross country meet. I didn't get a trophy or medal, but I came in 56th out of about 280 6th - 8th grade guys. Not too bad. I did the 2 mile in 13:59!
I really like running and can't wait for 5k run at Race for the Cure on Saturday.
I'm excited because I was baptized last night. I had been thinking about it and talking my parents about it for a while.
My dad baptized me. It was really cool. I'm excited to be a Christian.
I had a good time running in my first cross country meet. I was kinda surprised that there were as many kids that ran. There were like 145 kids there. I guess I was expecting around 50 or so.
I thought I did pretty good. I placed 33rd with a time of 6:34. I didn't get a medal or trophy. They gave those to the top 30.
I can't wait for my next meet. It's next week.
This fall I am running on the cross country team. I'm having a lot of fun so far. Our first meet is this Friday. We're running a 1600m. Can't wait!
